International Master on Advanced methods in Particle Physics

Partners

The International Master of Advanced methods in Particle Physics (IMAPP) develops in the heart of Europe, through three renowned universities and their physics departments.

Each of them best represents the three pillars on which the programme is based:

  • Statistics and machine learning (University of Clermont Auvergne);
  • Instrumentation and detector physics (TU Dortmund University);
  • Scientific computing (University of Bologna).

The first semester takes place at the University of Clermont Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand (France), at the École Universitaire de Physique et d’Ingénierie.

The second semester takes place at the TU Dortmund University (Germany), at the Physics Department.

The third semester takes place at the University of Bologna (Italy) – the oldest university in the world – at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi”.
